Fun Facts about Lacrymosa<\/strong><\/h3>\n

1. The name Katarina comes from the League of Legends hero. I can’t really say the League hero inspired my saloon girl, because they’re not really alike in any way. I just happened to really like playing Kat and the name stuck with me.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2. Cain’s Saloon is an intentional reference to the Biblical figure of Cain.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

3. Inspiration for the story came primarily from the Deadlands Weird West Roleplaying Game and the Showtime drama, Dexter.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

4. The Lady Gunslinger only speaks once.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

5. Her horse’s name is Posey. Okay, it’s not really, but after all these other grim facts I thought we needed something light-hearted to close on.<\/p>\n

\"\"When she isn’t visiting the worlds of immortals, demons, dragons and goblins, Brantwijn fills her time with artistic endeavors: sketching, painting, and graphic design. She sometimes procrastinates by hiding in online games like Star Wars; The Old Republic <\/em>or League of Legends. <\/em>She can’t handle coffee unless there’s enough cream and sugar to make it a milkshake, but try and sweeten her tea and she will never forgive you. She moonlights as a futon for four lazy cats, loves tabletop role-play games, and can spend hours penciling naughty, sexy illustrations in her secret notebooks.<\/p>\n
