This week Em Shotwell talks about her series with the Murphey sisters.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”HR 30%” _builder_version=”3.0.73″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat” saved_tabs=”all” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” global_module=”3593″]<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.0.101″ background_layout=”light”]<\/p>\n <\/p>\n By Em Shotwell<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n When Cori tapped me to be a part of the Enchanted<\/a> series, she explained what it was about and asked if I had a story idea that I could create pretty quickly (the deadline was looming).<\/span><\/p>\n My first thought was Oh do I have a story for you! <\/em>Quickly followed by, Wait, did you say romance? <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Because here is the thing\u2014I love romance! I do. But I am not your typical romance writer per se. There is always romance in my books\u2014actually there is a lot of romance in my books. There is also quite a bit of, well\u2026murder and \u201cdark stuff\u201d too. I didn\u2019t let this tiny little tidbit stop me\u2014I was ready. I was all in. I was going to be a part of this awesome series! I was\u2026going to have a hard time passing off what I had in mind as romance.<\/span><\/p>\n Thankfully, Cori is a great editor and also a great sounding board, so I was able to twist and mold my idea of a family of witches into three love stories (even if they still don\u2019t technically follow the rules for romance.) They are campy and fun and I think you will like them.
