I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s my love of all things Halloween or the fact that I\u2019ve always been drawn to the \u201cdark and twisty\u201d side, but I have always been fascinated with vampires. And the more tortured and brooding (and hot), the better! Personally, I think vampires and romance go hand-in-hand\u2014a vampire\u2019s kiss, what bliss! So, here\u2019s my idea for a great night of vampire yum\u2014dinner and a movie. But first . . .<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Song of the day<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>. . . a little <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=phIGYy9025o&amp;feature=youtu.be\" target=\"_blank\">Powerman 5000 \u201cV is for Vampire\u201d<\/a>. It\u2019s a great song to rock out to while you\u2019re cooking tonight\u2019s dinner.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Movie<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=27TsDuT7YiQ&amp;feature=youtu.be\">Only Lovers Left Alive<\/a> is directed by Jim Jarmusch and stars Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston. Tom . . . yum. Anywho, this movie is dark and brooding and frightfully entertaining. Place wings in a plastic bag set in a shallow dish. In a small bowl stir together soy sauce, ginger, crushed red pepper, five spice powder and garlic. Pour over wings. Close bag and toss to coat. Chill in refrigerator several hours or overnight, turning bag occasionally. Remove wings from bag, reserving marinade.<br \/>\n2. Place wings on a foil-lined 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Bake, uncovered, in a 450-degree F oven for 10 minutes. Brush with reserved marinade (discard remaining marinade). Bake 15 to 20 minutes longer or until chicken is tender and no longer pink. Serve with Swamp Dip. Makes 20 appetizers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>:<br \/>\nI usually stretch out the wings before marinating and cooking. This way, they look more like bat wings. And no, I don\u2019t drink the entire gallon myself . . . I\u2019ve got friends, dude.<\/p>\n<p>Now, anyone who\u2019s had a proper Seabreeze knows the color of the drink is more pink in color than red\u2014means the vodka\u2019s working. Then how did I get my cocktail such a lovely shade of red, you ask? There\u2019s a vodka that\u2019s actually red in color, Vampyre Vodka\u2014boom! Vampyre Seabreeze Cocktail:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><br \/>\n46 oz Cranberry juice (entire bottle)<br \/>\n23 oz Pineapple juice (half a can)<br \/>\n325 ml Vampyre Vodka (half a bottle)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><br \/>\n1.
